Fothermo photovoltaic water boiler 200 liters – water heater
The Fothermo 200L water boiler uses solar energy to provide cost-effective and environmentally friendly hot water. With three independently operating photovoltaic heating rods, it delivers hot water quickly and reliably. The 3 MPP trackers and DC heating rods provide a photovoltaic heating output of up to 1,800W.
Flexible inlets and outlets allow for individual installation, including the option of connecting a circulation pipe. Each boiler is supplied with pressure relief and check valves. The floor-standing boiler can utilize up to a total of 6000Wp of photovoltaic power. An existing heating system can be connected directly to the heat exchanger integrated in the boiler to ensure that sufficient hot water is available even on days with little sunshine.

Reheating
The boiler can be reheated in various ways if there is insufficient sunlight. One option is to use an existing pellet, gas, or oil heater, which is connected to the boiler via the integrated heat exchanger. A temperature sensor in the boiler controls the reheating. Alternatively, an electric heating element with a 6/4 inch thread can be installed. The maximum water temperature is 65°C, and a heated 200-liter boiler can draw approximately 450 liters of water at 34°C.
