The Tough series has proven itself in use over many years. With a wide range of different models, the Tough series offers a universal solution for numerous applications. The Tough surface is the preferred choice for the yacht industry, but also for more industrial off-grid applications. All Tough models are equipped with Sunpower™ Maxeon cells with an efficiency of 22.5% or higher.
The surface of the Tough series is robust and highly resistant to strong and prolonged UV exposure. It is more translucent than standard materials, thus contributing to higher daily production.
The special Tough textured surface ensures a secure hold, but also captures more light at low sun angles. In addition, all Tough models from 55W upwards are equipped with Shadow Optimized technology, which improves performance in partial shade.
At just 3 mm thick, the panels can be seamlessly attached to any hard surface. Their slight flexibility also allows installation on slightly curved surfaces.
The flat “flush” connection cable exits the back of the panel. It can therefore be routed directly underneath the panel into the interior.
