Nasa Clipper Windset with wireless masthead unit
The Clipper wireless wind comes with a wireless masthead sensor, a data box and a Clipper Wind display unit.
The wireless masthead sensor is powered by an internal battery charged by a small solar panel. A few dark days will not affect its performance. When fully charged, the unit can operate fully operational for two thousand hours in total darkness.
The masthead sensor sends data wirelessly to the data box, which is powered by 12 volts, receiving by the data box wind speed and direction data and sending it to the Clipper Wind screen or one of our multiplexers.
The Clipper Wind has a 110mm square housing. Exceptionally large and clear display with 60 segments for full 360-degree direction indication.
