The SOL-THOR from my-PV (MPN: 14-0100) is a continuously adjustable DC power manager that efficiently converts solar power into heat. The direct current from your panels is transferred directly to a connected heating element with virtually no loss, guaranteeing maximum efficiency. Thanks to its self-sufficient operation, it does not need to be connected to the power grid and is completely self-sufficient via your 1-10 PV modules.If you need additional heat, the SOL-THOR can automatically switch to mains power and provide additional heating. You can use both new and existing heating elements in your heat storage tank. This makes retrofitting an ecological heating system simple and cost-effective. Furthermore, no approval from the grid operator is required, and by using cables instead of pipes, the system is maintenance-free. In off-grid applications, the SOL-THOR can operate in frequency mode. It is compatible with great brands such as Victron Energy, Growatt, Huawei, Studer, and SMA.

Thanks to its self-sufficient operation, no connection to the power grid is required. The SOL-THOR supplies itself independently directly from your PV generator, eliminating the need for grid feed-in, inverters, and connection permits. This DC power manager uses the solar power from your solar modules efficiently and directly for heat generation. The system can be operated with 1-10 PV modules. It transfers the direct current from your panels directly to a heating element and converts it into heat. Two heating elements can be controlled alternately to optimally adjust heat generation. On a day with little sunshine, it automatically switches to mains power so that you always have hot water. It couldn’t be easier – more flexibility and reliability for your solar supply.
